Pfuitt (vacation, it's always going too fast)

Barely time to leave, blow to my book of vacation, enjoy the beach, Sun, family, friends,... that here I am already retracted holiday (and that I think already to next Getaways).

Of course, I had planned to make a billion things (including finally re-enable this blog). Of course I don't in have half.

Finally, let us not so negative, I think I can calmly say that these holidays have clearly met their objectives: for me effective and traditional summer vacation, is in the South, in family, with friends who spend, apéros to pastis, the provençal market (and the famous nocturnal fairs), the song of cicadas, the beach, ice, the round-trip to swim to the buoy (only the first)(, because the second it starts to do later), the Focaccia with olives, the biafine, buns for the small sugar breakfast, parts of ping pong endiablées (I was last class in high school, my level is always also poor), full of anniversaries and lots of photos to remember it all during the year… I therefore return to well tanned Paris and the smile to the lips, which is already well.

And then, finally, are rethinking, I have when even 2-3 really useful tips during these holidays: I am finally cut my hair (a little too short elsewhere, but for €19 on the central square of the Pradet, capped by Marie-Christine, the result is honourable - it could have been worse say), I discovered Kundera (the unbearable lightness of being - very very well)I wrote a few owls for the blog of Moline haberdashery articles, and I have prepared the re-entry.

Because although I say that I regret the vacation, back to school I like good also and it looks particularly interesting (Yes, there is a bit of self belief in the last sentence, it will be good if this application of the coué method will prove effective – or if it will really take that I reparte vacation very enough…)

I heart vintage & etsy: vote for me!

Finally, this is my first participation in a competition organised by the French team of Etsy. The last time, I was not really the time, or ideas… but not so much this time, not an excuse: without a specialist of the tie-dye (this would laugh some), my cabinets contain widely enough parts trophees a little everywhere to claim the love vintage contest.

Finally, the more hard was to choose which part would have the honour to represent me in this contest. After much hesitation, I finally decided to present my shoes Spanish, dénichées in Sweden. A true international history, therefore, a stroke of luck and a real bargain.

These beautiful nudes-feet have been identified by my sister at Stockholms Stadmission Soder, while temperatures were barely approaching the 0… I was the only my interest course, especially as it is a mini size (a small 35, worthy of Cinderella).

I am so bullish Stockholm winter with a pair of sandals to heels in blue and white, with a particularly flattering flange and a retro air which me please much (and a price totally ridiculous of the order of ten euros, while the shoes are leather and as new).

In short, these shoes are a real good find vintage: a model pretty, sober and finally very easy to wear, almost unique (little risk to cross the Spanish model with feet of another girl in Paris, or so I have really no chance), very cheap and, on top of all, remember a very cool travels…

40 things to do in Toronto

Barely 3 months later, finally here is the account of my Toronto comeback and the now traditional list of things to do

(as prevent you immediately even if it does not feel necessarily here, I love this city, I have memories of my "year abroad", and this trip rich in emotions was a good opportunity to take a small rather positive personal balance, which is never wrong)

Visit

1. Take the ferry to the Toronto Islands and admire the skyline with the CN Tower2. Feel well small before Dundas square3 giant screens. Through U of T, the University of Toronto (and attend by chance a degree, with all the ceremonial that goes with: the costume, the framed diploma, very proud parents) 4. Discover the Crystal of Daniel Libeskind and Bregman + Hamann Architects around the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) 5. To wander in the Annex and desire to knock on the door of the pretty houses colorées6. See Downtown Toronto in the rain, since the art gallery of ontario7. Go to the historic Distillery District all in red bricks (as amienoise it me please necessarily) 8. Believe in Asia in Chinatown

10 To make shopping at the Eaton Center (among others: American Eagle Outfitters, where I was very disappointed to not find John, Garage - a brand of Montreal, FCUK, Roots évidemment…)11 For purchasing cheap, go to the dollar store (that is what it failed me, I've brought plenty of stuff geeks as the anniversary badges, pop corn plastic buckets, a set of 70 aiguilles… for a dollar coin, I can't resist) or Honest Eds (a case of Tati equivalent, with a more friendly side)(photos of Ed with local celebrities and large signs announcing the price written by hand) 12. For creators and purchases trendy, direction Queen St West (between other Preloved, a great shop that distracts from clothes to give them a new life, Polka Dot Kid, a nice store for children, or even one very cool paper store) 13. Do shops and thrift stores of Kensington Market, and including my 2 favourites: The Good Egg, a small concept store around the kitchen and the art of living in General, which also proposes DIY14 sessions. And Courage my love, a great shop with clothes vintage, beads and buttons, jewelry,... (what well packed so)

Eat out, take a drink

15 Do not count calories Commander beer and the "bar food" (of nachos, and sweet potatoes fries, rings onions, poutine évidemment… than the light and healthy) 16. Taste the best pizza in the city in Libretto, the real neapolitan pizza, Ossington17. Freshly pressés18 fruit juice drink. Of M & Ms in the butter19 peanut snack. Test the sushi pizza (a local speciality: rice, breaded with raw fish and mayo… Yes, it is not the top top air, and indeed is not terrible) 20. SE refresh with a sucre21 cane juice. Competition: Go to the job, made its duties of holiday!

The duties of holiday were the great drama of my childhood: rather than to go to the swimming pool with my friends, I was doing dictations, exercises of maths, mental calculation (and the mental calculation is my pet peeve), grammar,... Is moved on the table of dining in my grandparents after lunch and we worked well wisely until the time of the snack (and then only it was issued, it finally had the right to run outside and plunge into the water!).

What this means that today ' today, I have not very desire a priori to take assignments for holidays… until I received the super holiday specifications produced by the French to Etsy for the summer team!

RESULT: I asked my colleagues unemployed in the month of August to give me a figure between 1 and 64 and they chose 24 (in honour of the young people who work with us), so this is the egg who sings which will have to get on the job this summer! A folly?

Butterfly ready to fly, an explosion of colour, flowering and sweet notes, a spirit both romantic and full of madness, a somewhat entêtant wake, curves and the sensuality that is what I have learned from Madly Kenzo! 

Since last week, I was invited by my hubbub in the presentation of the last House Kenzo juice in their showroom of the place des Victoires (as you say that I had noted the date in my calendar, it's not every day that we meet the creators of a new parfum…).

As we were not particularly in advance (UM, I was in fact the ultimate laggard to arrive in the evening), we have discussed more quietly with Kenzo team after the presentation by Aurélien Guichard, the perfumer originally Madly Kenzo: we have led to the conclusion that it is difficult to choose a perfume, like us, to keep long without grow tiredthat is like a second skin. Precisely this new fragrance has a very strong, appealing identity but leaving not indifferent. It is always difficult to describe a perfume, I would not be in the best position for this exercise (the best is yet to test it and wear a little, to feel how it reacts on its skin through a day).

The presentation of the fragrance was an opportunity to make Follies, to be "you madly" with an accessory a little fou… Well inspired, I chose my mini umbrella multicolor, with butterflies and the clap of the film (and helpful by days, it is never from a wavy at the moment).

To reveal your side madly kenzo, there is a small website with images full of color and light, and a competition to win a weekend mad crazy fou…

Small things

Oh the time flies, I do a thousand things that I want to share here, and then I forget, I am still of other deceiving and finally I I have a little to tell a few: details, small pleasures, beautiful memories, very brief thing, well I like the little things that seem unimportant but which are at the bottom.

An evening at the theatre

This is not new: I love to go to the theatre. I like the ceremonial (although it is rare that knock 3 shots before that representation begins), I like well discover a room, often majestic, install me in a Chair in red velvet, discuss with my neighbor until light extinction, take a look on the program, wait until the curtain rises.

.

I like although, often, several stairs to reach my seat (actually, I take cheap seats and so rarely in the Orchestra).

I like watching people in the room, those who have the habit, which came out of the work and those for which the theatre output represents a true event, for which it is important to choose a suitable holding.

Of course, I love let me captivated by a room, be embedded on scene with the characters (this is not so easy), laugh, smile, be afraid, sometimes be moved.

And I like also when the curtain rises, discover the actors without their 'mask', feel their relief (it imagine them to say among themselves, 'everything went well') and cheer with the public.

Last week, I went to the theatre of the work, two not place Clichy, between two they, a piece of Isabelle Cote: I try to summarize in a few words, and I have of slang First is the story of a couple, and then a woman who cut the bridges to find it, and a somewhat mysterious bookseller; in fact, I did not particularly enjoyed history, a little tarabiscotée for my liking, even if I left out the 3 crossed destinies.

That evening, this it that I liked, it is first to discover a beautiful theatre, with mosaics in the lobby and a rather pleasant room. It is also the actors, in particular that which plays the bookseller. It is also the scenery: a bookshop in wood, painted all in blue, with a counter, a staircase and shelving full of books, was discovered after a more sober 1 Act.

The piece plays that up to October 29, there is little chance that you have the opportunity of the see… But the advantage in Paris, is that there is no shortage of theatres, or parts to go cheer.

(And no, not, not, it is cheap sometimes more to go to the theatre to go to the cinema: there is plenty of preferential rates for young people, for the first performances, passing through the booth of the mairie de Paris may even have invitations, and in the worst case it is not very well placed but appreciate when insiders)

The war is declared

Endless films Valérie Donzelli watch as one reads a tale. After the fabulous Queen of apples, I finally saw this week the war is declared. A large waiting but not disappointment.

_Roméo and Juliet love and they very quickly a child called Adam. But Adam vomiting "to dramatically" and constantly has his head examined, always on the same side. I doubt that I would set aside an any suspense by announcing that it turns out that Adam has cancer. It read everywhere, it is not a sad film, since it is a film based on the Romeo/Juliet couple, on the ties - beyond even the pure and simple love.

_Un very nice film that deserves it moves to the cinema (already more than a million spectators - if it is not OWL).

Valentin

Imperiled halfway between Rosalie Blum for drawing and colors, and Paul for the Quebec touch, a delicious another bd which is also the name of a character, Valentin. A new book since desired and discovered by the famous Penelope Bagieu bd Chronicles.

_Fabien and Stephanie have a well regulated life; is real estate agent, she freelance graphic designer. Stéphanie is packed for a very affectionate cat, Valentin, who will challenge the routine that was installed between them and update the tensions that germinated gradually in their couple.
