40 things to do in Toronto

Barely 3 months later, finally here is the account of my Toronto comeback and the now traditional list of things to do

(as prevent you immediately even if it does not feel necessarily here, I love this city, I have memories of my "year abroad", and this trip rich in emotions was a good opportunity to take a small rather positive personal balance, which is never wrong)

Visit

1. Take the ferry to the Toronto Islands and admire the skyline with the CN Tower2. Feel well small before Dundas square3 giant screens. Through U of T, the University of Toronto (and attend by chance a degree, with all the ceremonial that goes with: the costume, the framed diploma, very proud parents) 4. Discover the Crystal of Daniel Libeskind and Bregman + Hamann Architects around the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) 5. To wander in the Annex and desire to knock on the door of the pretty houses colorées6. See Downtown Toronto in the rain, since the art gallery of ontario7. Go to the historic Distillery District all in red bricks (as amienoise it me please necessarily) 8. Believe in Asia in Chinatown

Shopping

10 To make shopping at the Eaton Center (among others: American Eagle Outfitters, where I was very disappointed to not find John, Garage - a brand of Montreal, FCUK, Roots évidemment…)11 For purchasing cheap, go to the dollar store (that is what it failed me, I've brought plenty of stuff geeks as the anniversary badges, pop corn plastic buckets, a set of 70 aiguilles… for a dollar coin, I can't resist) or Honest Eds (a case of Tati equivalent, with a more friendly side)(photos of Ed with local celebrities and large signs announcing the price written by hand) 12. For creators and purchases trendy, direction Queen St West (between other Preloved, a great shop that distracts from clothes to give them a new life, Polka Dot Kid, a nice store for children, or even one very cool paper store) 13. Do shops and thrift stores of Kensington Market, and including my 2 favourites: The Good Egg, a small concept store around the kitchen and the art of living in General, which also proposes DIY14 sessions. And Courage my love, a great shop with clothes vintage, beads and buttons, jewelry,... (what well packed so)

Eat out, take a drink

15 Do not count calories Commander beer and the "bar food" (of nachos, and sweet potatoes fries, rings onions, poutine évidemment… than the light and healthy) 16. Taste the best pizza in the city in Libretto, the real neapolitan pizza, Ossington17. Freshly pressés18 fruit juice drink. Of M & Ms in the butter19 peanut snack. Test the sushi pizza (a local speciality: rice, breaded with raw fish and mayo… Yes, it is not the top top air, and indeed is not terrible) 20. SE refresh with a sucre21 cane juice. Enjoy an ice chocolate to fall on the ground in Delight on Queen St W22. And just as delicious hot chocolates at SOMA to the Distillery24. Stalling a small hunger with a hot dog outdoors

Unusual

25 To welcome the statue of the cat on his chair at the entrance to Kensington Market26. Surprising to see houses stained between Yonge St and the université27.
